Yummy for your tummy;)
This is a simple recipe to upgrade your basic vegan “chicken” strips into something amaze balls.
What you need:
-1 bag of vegan chicken strips (I used beyond meat)
-1/2 cup of vegan bbq sauce of choice (used twice)
-1 tbsp. vegan milk (I used Better than Half & Half unsweetened)
-1 tbsp. agave
-Juice of 1 lime
-1 tsp Dijon mustard
-1 cup panko crumbs
-Non stick spray
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees f.
Start by combing the lime juice, agave, mustard, and BBQ sauce. The separate in half. One half will be for dipping.
The other half mix with the plant based milk. This is your dredge. Take your chicken strips and run them through the dredge (this stuff) and then into the panko crumbs.
Set up on a baking sheet and pop them in the oven for 5 mins. Then take them out and in a non stick pan, add some non stick spray and crisp up the outside on medium/high heat.
