French onion dip is such a creature comfort for me. However this is lower in calories, higher in protein, and very easy to make!
What you need you damn tofu queen:
-1 block extra firm tofu diced
-2 tsp nutritional yeast
-2 tbsp. onion powder
-2 tsp garlic powder
-Juice from 1 lemon
-1 tsp tamari
-1/4 tsp kosher salt
-1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
-2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
-1/4 cup dried fried onions
-1/4 cup of water
Step 1: Combine all the ingredients (except parsley) and blend! Make sure while blending that you stop every 10 seconds and use a spatula to push the mix down to the blade.
Step 2: Refrigerate for 30 mins.
Step 3: Garnish with parsley flakes, or more lemon juice, or nothing. And enjoy!!!
