If you read my post on chimichurri sauce then you may know that Hubz LOOOVES it. However his passion for this started to dwindle so I thought why not try and make a similar type condiment. So meet Gremolata!
What you need: serves 2
-1/2 cup chopped parsley
-Skin of 1 small lemon
-3 cloves of garlic minced
-1 tsp olive oil
-1 pinch of kosher or sea salt
Start by taking a vegetable peeler and remove the skin of the lemon.
Roughly chop your parsley. Then using a garlic press, mince 3 cloves of garlic.
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and bam ya done!
This is a nice condiment to go with some of gardeins mock meats, such as the beefless tips or chicken scaloppini!
